The project seeks to understand Corruption and Anti-corruption trends associated with private sector development in Afghanistan as well as opportunities, prospects and willingness of different actors to fight against corruption associated with private sector development in Afghanistan.

The Project also aims to understand best anti-corruption practices in at least two countries with comparable environment as Afghanistan and lessons learned that could be applied in Afghanistan.

- Research conducted on Corruption and Anti-corruption trends associated with private sector development in Afghanistan.

- Assessment of the potential for fight against corruption association with private sector development in Afghanistan.

- In-depth study and review of best anti-corruption practices in at least two countries with comparable environment as Afghanistan and lessons learned that could be applied in Afghanistan.

- Recommended new project ideas for future Harakat investment to fight against corruption. The research is ultimately expected to come-up with project ideas where Harakat could invest to fight against corruption. Out of these at least 5 of them should be confirmed as the viable project ideas for future consideration of Harakat.
